Composition of personal data

Purpose of use

Client information is collected and stored solely for the purpose of rendering services within the framework of the agreement concluded with the Client for participation in the “Virtual Card” coalition consumer loyalty program (hereinafter referred to as the Program); for identification and communication; for provision of Clients with information on services and products provided by the Operator and/or Partners of the Program; as well as for analysis, technical management and improvement of the “Virtual Card” Program and Products; for marketing purposes; for any other purposes specified in this Confidentiality Policy. In the meaning of this Confidentiality Policy, Client information is: personal information the Client independently provides when concluding contracts, installing and using the application, personal account on virtualcard.az web resource (including but not limited to full name, email, phone); as well as data automatically transmitted in the process of using the application, including but not limited to:

• IDFA (Identifier For Advertisers) is required to identify the mobile device on which the application is installed. It is necessary to enhance the security of Virtual Card product users.
• Access to the device’s camera is required for QR code scanning and personal identification procedures when necessary.
• Cookies enable to save Virtual Card platform usage history, personalized settings and other data enhancing the usability of Virtual Card on the user’s device.
• OS version is required for technical optimization of the information displayed to the client, taking into account the version of the client operating system.
• The browser version is required for technical optimization of the information displayed to the client, taking into account the client browser version.
• Device type is required for technical optimization of the information displayed to the client, taking into account the version of the client operating system.
• Time zone is required to correct the time of the information displayed to the client, taking into account the time zone in which the client is located.
• Network connection (cellular & Wi-Fi) is required to retrieve data from the server, to update the content of partner catalogs and products in the application.

In addition, we may also use third-party services (such as Google Analytics). Such third-party services have their own confidentiality policies that describe how they use the information provided.

Data provided by external services in the presence of Integration. You can use external services to interact with Virtual Card Products, such as Facebook, email clients and others. Under such interaction, your personal data can be transferred to Virtual Card Products. In addition, Virtual Card may request access to other services on your behalf if there is Integration with these external services.

We may request personal data from you at any time when you interact with Virtual Card Products.

Protection of information

You can delete or block certain cookies using the settings in your browser, but after that we will not be able to guarantee you access to Virtual Card Products.

If we find out that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 16 without parental consent, we will take steps to remove this information from our servers.
